Then, Ari, Dan and I went swimming in the afternoon. It has been great to get exercise. Swimming helps to relax my back, too so that is good. Friday afternoon, I went with Ari and Dan to the softball game. Every Friday, a bunch of NGO workers and ex-pats get together to play softball. Dan and Ari always play and I usually stay at home and sleep, but this time, I had enough energy to go and cheer them on (even though they were put on opposite teams). Ari is on the far left in the red and white tennis garb standing next to Dan.
Anyways, on Saturday, I spent some time in my classroom and Dan got a lot of reading done. We went to our friends Christina and Good M'yungyonga for dinner. They have three adorable children! We had a great time with them. Good is an ABC graduate and a teacher. He and Dan get along very well and love to talk about African history, Church History and all of their favorite authors. Christina is a junior at ABC and she helps us twice a week with dishes and cleaning. We hope to be able to pay off her school fees, but we will see. It is really wonderful to be able to help her out, even though we are convinced that she helps us more. They are becoming our Malawian family and we really love them. Here we are at their house. As you can see, their youngest was VERY tired as it was almost 9pm. She kept telling Christian that she wouldn't go to bed until the Robbins left because she didn't want to miss anything. She is so cute!
