Just another day in paradise!

Yesterday was a bad day. I barely got out of bed. I woke up with a pounding head ache that got worse every time I moved. I read a lot and just relaxed. My back was feeling horrible as well. It was a rainy day anyways, so it felt good just to stay in bed.

This morning, I woke up without a head ache and had slept through the night (practically) so I felt really good! Dan and I had a great breakfast together and I went out shopping for food. For some reason, today is just a better day! Ari is coming home in a few hours, and I am really excited to see her. She has been gone for 6 weeks and we have missed her tons!

This afternoon, while I was reading my book, I heard some whispering outside our bedroom window. As I looked out, I saw the "Goof Troop" as Dan calls them, smothering our car with paint balls. They love pulling pranks on us old people on campus, but I thought it was so sweet of them to initiate such service! Apparently paint balls are made of soap, and so to me, they were soaping up Wayne (our car), getting it ready to be washed. As Dan chased them back home, I headed over there to let them know that we would have buckets of water ready for them in 15 minutes. Sure enough, they came over and gave Wayne a wash. He needed it badly!!!

The Goof Troop consists of Jon Jon Spencer, Cody Moffet , John and Mitch Easter, and T.J. & Mitch MacLean, all of whom are missionary kids. They are between 15 and 18 years old, and they love to hang around Dan (teasing him, but also getting teased by him). They are a good group of guys. So sweet to volunteer to wash our car!

Like I said, just another day in paradise.
