Meet me in St. Louis, Louis....

First of all, I was very sad today. I just really miss my class. I have missed them since the day we left, but today, it hit me really hard. I just love my kids so much!

After visiting again with Sarah, Nathan and Amos last week, Dan and I have been busy here at the ranch. We have finally packed and sent our two boxes to the ABC home office which will be put on the container and sent to Malawi next week. As well, we have been busy with figuring out insurance for next year. We also started reading one of our books called 'Natural Childbirth the Bradley Way'. It has been really fun reading through the stages of birth and learning about Dan's role as the father. The really amazing thing about the Bradley method is that the husband is actually involved, in a huge way. He is taught to be the coach instead of looked upon as the dumb guy who should just sit outside in the waiting room until he hears news that he is a father. Dan will play a big part in bringing Elijah into the world. We are so excited to learn more about the Bradley method and practice for the big day (whenever that may be).

By the way, I am at 35 weeks and am feeling alright. Elijah is a very busy boy, and so I still struggle to sleep at night. The bed has become more crowded with pillows as I am constantly trying to find the perfect balance of support and comfort (poor Dan).

So, we are headed to St. Louis tomorrow to visit friends and to connect with people at Covenant Seminary. I know that this trip will be especially exciting for Dan as he gets to visit with two of his closest friends, as well as get started on the process of beginning classes at Covenant. Please pray for traveling mercies as it will probably be an uncomfortable ride for me. Also pray that we will be encouraged by this visit. We feel strongly called to ministry, and so this is a big step for us, visiting the Seminary. Pictures will come next week. Have a great weekend!!!
