A Day at the Park

Today, Dan and Elijah and I got Thai take out and headed to the park for a picnic. It was a beautiful day in the 80's with a nice breeze. It was great to be outside for a while. Dan and I were finally able to have a date and spend some time talking. It was a wonderful date.

Eli slept while we ate our food. It was perfect timing!

Check out his triple chin...count all three of them! 1, 2, 3!

Earlier this week, our friends Paul and Lynnette from Seattle were in town visiting. We had a great time catching up, and of course they got to spend some quality time with Elijah. Paul especially enjoyed making faces with Elijah.

Elijah is beginning to take interest in his toys (all two of them!!!)

Eli and his other best friend, Jeero.

Eli shows off one of his new cloth diaper. It worked alright, with just a little bit of a leak around his legs. We think it's because his legs are SOOOO skinny! The diapers will fit better once he gains a little more chub.

Hey Bethany! I enjoyed visiting your blog and following Elijah's birth. I had Oliver naturally with a midwife - but we did it all at Vanderbilt. This past January, though, I stayed with a girlfriend from church through her home (water) birth. Your pictures made me think of when her Beniah was born.

I haven't gotten a chance to congratulate you all yet but I guess now is as good a time as any... congrats on your beautiful baby boy!

If you and Dan will be around and available Friday July 11th we're having a wine and cheese tasting at our house starting at 7pm. Let me know if you'd like to come!
