For the past few weeks, I have been keeping up with a blog called "The Quick and the Dead" by Dr. George Grant. He is the pastor at Parish Presbyterian Church in Franklin, TN (my hometown). We really enjoyed his preaching and teaching while we were in the States this spring/summer. He is a very smart man and a phenominal speaker.
Anyways, he has this blog about Planned Parenthood and other topics relating to abortion. If you have the time, check it out. I agree with everything he ever says on his blog. The articles and posts are often heart breaking. I have been convicted all over again that the Church is not doing enough to fight against abortion. We should be providing services to women who are scared and without resources, helping them through difficult times. Often times, we frown upon women who have made that terrible choice, but aren't willing to help them! I myself am not doing enough...we need to be praying for our nation, that the hearts of all would be changed and that people would begin to see how terrible abortion is.

Beth - thanks for posting this link - this issue has really burdened me this week and your post was providentially-timed! I am praying for all the women who have been massively deceived into believing that abortion is just another "surgery", and that the ability to choose this procedure is a desirable "right". My heart is so heavy about this...
