Update!

We are doing well, but we are soooo busy! The team from Seattle has arrived! It has been so much fun seeing them. They are staying in the guest housing just across the street from our house. We feed them breakfast each morning...nothing fancy, just oatmeal, fruit, and coffee. In turn, they help me tons with Elijah. Here is David holding and feeding Elijah.

Everyone has been having so much fun playing with him. He has been a great boy, smiling and flirting with all the girls, staying up late, and going without mommy for long periods of time (It's been great to have time to get my work done!). I will have more pictures of the team soon, I promise. For those of you reading who know/love someone on the team: Everyone is doing very well. They are working hard and remembering to rest, too. I have been so blessed by everyone's willingness to serve in any way needed. We love having dear friends next door to us. Dan took some of the team with him to the prison yesterday. It was very eye opening for them to see how the prisoners live, as well as how strong their faith is, despite their situation. I will be taking Elijah with me to the village with the team tomorrow. We will just stay for a few hours and will return tomorrow night. Dan will be accompanying Pastor Kelly on Wednesday to Nkhmoa. Pastor Kelly is doing a seminar on Christ Centered Preaching with pastors there. Keep praying for the team and their time here. Currently, Galagher is working on our dryer which broke today:)

So, the team being here also means that Elijah has his diapers!!! It has been so much fun using his colorful cloth diapers. I never thought I would love washing/preparing my baby's diapers so much! I guess only a mother would enjoy that job.

I took some women from the team to get chitenjes (fabric) which you wrap around you like a skirt. The women wanted them to wear in the village. We went to a busy market in town, where they sell TONS of different patterned fabrics. It was beautiful! (Some of these are you for Candace)

Mini bus station on the way back from the market.

This morning, part of the team sang 'O Love that will not let me go' at the ABC chapel. It was very good and the students liked it alot.

One afternoon last week, I had Dan hold Eli while I got some laundry done. When I came into the living room, I saw this:
And then this:

Like father, like son I guess!

Here are some more Father/Son photos...so cute!

Eli has decided that sucking on daddy's thumb will do just fine.

Eli's room...we just put up the big net which covers both his crib and the chair I use to for midnight feedings.

Changing table...the knobs on the top drawer need to be fixed.

We have a shelf and a twin bed in his room, too. It's really quite nice.

Bright eyed boy! He is getting so big. When I tell people that he is only 3 months old, they all respond the same : "WOW, he is such a big boy!" In reality, I think he is right on target. He has just begun wearing his size 3 mo. clothes. We should just go down to the clinic to have him weighed.

Elijah dances with daddy...notice how excited he is (not).
