Building projects

First, look at how cute Eli is in his matching diaper and blanket. My mom, grandmarmie made the blanket and then we found the diaper on line. A lady in Seattle makes them and I couldn't believe it when I saw this one on her web-site...on sale no less!!! Anyways, I thought it was cute.

And now for the real post:
There are a number of building projects happening on the ABC campus. Before we left, both the new pediatric ward and the guest houses were just beginning to take shape. After we left, they started construction on the new Academy building (which will be two stories!).

The new pediatric ward is nearly finished and will be opened on October 31st.



The guest huts are still in need of a few finishing touches, but were used by the Seattle team last month. This is what it looked like when we left last March...yeah, not much.
It is a wonderful thing for ABC to be able to house the teams and individuals who come to work and support all the many ministries done here. There is a larger 'hut' which is being used for the new Academy pre-school and also by teams. It will soon be fully equipped for cooking and doing laundry on half of the building with the pre-school classroom on the other half.

These are the huts (there are four) complete with beds, bathrooms and closets coming soon.

The new two story building for the Academy is much needed! As the school grows each year, we are literally running out of classrooms! The new building will be for the upper school classes, hopefully the science lab and an art room.

Please be praying that the Lord would provide financially for each of these projects. Pray that these buildings would be used by God in their various ways.
