Even Elijah is surprised at how old he is getting!
Eli will be 7 months old on Monday. I feel like he is so old. He is clapping and army crawling now, and quickly working towards the real deal. He is determined to get to whatever book, pen, cup, watch or anything else in sight.
He also loves to stand up (with our help of course) so he spends quite a bit of time in his bubba bouncer (as shown in picture....can you see???he is mid air!)

Eli found a giant snail in the yard (we get a lot of them during the rainy season, some of them as big as baseballs)...he was very concerned about it I think.
Eli sat up in his bath all by himself for the first time the other day. He loved splashing the water with his hands, and didn't even mind when it got all over his face. He is so concentrated on the water and his toy, I could hardly get him to smile for the camera.
Finally, he gave me a smile.
Here are some pictures from the later half of our Christmas day. We played ultimate frisbee with our neighbors and then went to our weekly pot luck, except this week, it was a special Christmas feast complete with name place cards. It was a really nice dinner and we enjoyed spending time with our good friend Owen.

This video is a little shaky, but it proves Eli's ability to move around. It's not quite crawling, yet, but he is getting there.

Eli is doing great. That last video is about what Áine is doing, too--the scooting/arm crawl. She has to be very motivated still and has not put together that she could get herself into "new territory." It is so cute to watch, though. The bath pics are great. I love bathtime--so fun!
