Bathing outdoors

We were without water again this week. The water in our bathroom comes out looking like coffee. We got enough clear water out of the kitchen sink and were able to boil it and give Eli his bath for the week. I know he should bath more often, especially knowing the things he finds to play with and all the people who pass him around both on campus and off campus. But what can you do when there is little to no water?

Oh, these are such beautiful pictures! We are so spoiled! I am reminded every time I see your happy little boy bathing in a bucket as I have the freedom to use all the water I want each and every day. Reminder that just because I can does not mean I should.

Hi, Bethany!
I just clicked over from Missionary Moms and wanted to say, "HI!"

We Americans sometimes take the "cleanliness is next to godliness" thing too seriously. We joke with our kids, "God made dirt and dirt don't hurt!" Of course, we still sometimes get a whiff of our boys and say, "Whoa!!! Hit the showers, boy!" Your little guy is so adorable -- don't worry if he has a little toe-jam! ;^)

I'm enjoying reading about your life and ministry. I look forward to reading more!!! Have a fantastic week and I'll pray that you get some good, quality time to connect as a couple this week.

Bendiciones!!!
