This is officially my third mother's day in a year. We celebrated mother's day this time last year when I was just a few weeks from holding my new baby in my arms. We also celebrated the Malawian mother's day last October. I feel very celebrated as a mother.
Yesterday was great day. We went to church and then went out for lunch. Elijah had a fun time waving at everyone in the restaurant. We love taking him out with us because he always eats well and charms everyone we come into contact with. Dan and I got take out ice cream from the only ice cream place in town and enjoyed almost the entire container after a long needed nap. I beat Dan at cards and then we went to the Chinchen's for the usual Sunday night pancake supper. It was really a fun day.
I hope all you mothers out there got to relax a little yesterday. I missed you today mom! Happy Mother's Day!
