Crisis Nursery Center (MOH)

I felt well enough to visit with the beautiful babies at the Ministry of Hope Crisis Nursery Center today. It was soooo good to see the little ones, especially the ones who are growing! Above is a picture of one of the nursery rooms. Sick babies sleep in here, and they are usually the smallest, too.

Here is Ruth. I think she is about a month old, but looks no older than 4 days old.

This is Mariam (not sure how to spell it). She has a twin named Moses. They are cute as can be!

Just hoped to give you a small picture of what the Nursery is like. Hopefully, I will remember to bring my camera more often, and you can get to know ALL of the babies (all 30 of them!). Keep praying for these little precious ones. Some of them are just trying to get healthy at the Nursery and hope to be back with their families soon. Most of them are orphans, so pray that they will be adopted or be placed in good foster homes until they are adopted. Some of them have huge health problems: can't gain wait, severe diarrhea, AIDS, etc. These are God's children, and I am so glad that He loves them and knows them all by name. Otherwise, it would be too sad of a situation. But God knows them intimately, and cares for them and has a plan for them. Praise God!

Beth and Dan, we are so excited to hear about "littlest." What an exciting time in your life! I love reading your blog, it always encourages me, makes me laugh, and reminds me that God is Good.

God bless you three!
