Busy weekend

On Saturday, the Ribera's hosted a college babies get-together. Our friends Seth and Piper came over with Aine (Awnya). It was funny to sit around and talk about our baby's sleeping habits and the content of their diapers when we used to be college buddies hanging out 'till wee hours of the morning. Things have certainly changed! We took cute pictures of them on Piper's UW blanket. It was so funny because Eli was the only one awake!

He had no problem using Ezra for an arm rest.

Here are the UW daddies .

Eli tries to win Aine's heart again, but she was obviously bored.

Eli and Aunt Jesky.

After that, we hopped on a ferry to Bainbridge Island for a Robbins family reunion. Here is Eli hanging out with daddy on the ferry ride over.

Tom's brother Chuck, Tom (Dan's dad), Dan and Eli...the Robbins men!

Uncle Chuck and aunt Carol (Eli's great uncle and aunt).

This is Todd, the oldest living Robbins relative! (He is Tom's cousin). Eli is the youngest Robbins!

View of Seattle from the ferry ride home:

Dan preached a convicting sermon at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Issaquah on Sunday. Go to his blog to read about it.

Then we headed over to the Morton's house for a Malawi team meeting. There is a team of people from Green Lake Pres. coming to ABC on the 1st of September. We were so excited to sit in on a meeting, hear about their preparations and pray with them. We are thrilled to have them out next month and know that they will get a lot done!

It is crazy to think that it was already 3 years ago this month that Dan and I went to Malawi for the first time with Green Lake on a short term trip. I didn't know then how much that trip would change our lives forever!

My mom told me that she saw you guys and got to hold Elijah. I have to admit, I'm a little jealous!

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and see how things are. My email is lindsay.cowgill@gmail.com, so email me! I'd love to talk.
