Home sweet Home

We are here! We got in about 2pm this afternoon. It is so good to be back. The flights were alright. The one from Seattle to D.C. was a little tough being squished by a rather larger man on one side, and then Eli being a little fussy. When we got on the long flight to Jo-burg, we realized it was super empty and ended up having a whole row (4 seats) to ourselves!!! Eli slept well in the bassinet (which connects to the bulk head wall) and Dan and I got to have a little date while we watched a movie together. We both got a little bit of sleep and Eli only had a few fussy times. Pretty good!

Having a night in Jo-burg was very nice. We all were kind of on a weird sleep schedule. We all slept from about 5pm-8pm and then were awake until midnight. Then, we all for some reason were up from 3am-6am...so we watched the Olympics!

We are now in our new little home (actually, it is quite huge!) and are starting to get into our bags and boxes. The container has already come! That is such a huge deal because, as many of you might remember, the container didn't come until December last year!

We have already been visited by many of the campus kids, Owen and a few others. I will post pictures tomorrow. I just wanted everyone to know that we made it home and we are safe, healthy and very happy to be on African soil.

Thank you so much for your prayers. I was definitely very worried about the flights and worried about how Eli would do, but the Lord was so faithful. It was really not that bad!

Beth, Glad to hear you arrived safely! We will continue to pray for the three of you.
