We got to visit one last time with our friends Michael, Kathryn and their little boy Liam (actually, he is HUGE!). Liam and Eli loved playing together...I think they were each really fascinated by the other.
We got to have dinner with Jessica, Brendan and Ezra last Thursday. The boys had a good staring competition....
Where's Eli? He was hanging out somewhere on the bed while Dan and I finished packing.
Here are some pictures from our last night in Seattle. Of course, we spent it on the beach. It was such a beautiful evening.
Chad and Lauren with Elijah.
Yes, they are this cute, and no they are not Banana Republic models :)
The Robbins family. Elijah was so good...he will seriously sleep anywhere!

Walking back to our cars.
We had our first little reunion with our friend Andy. We were on the same flight from D.C. to Jo-burg so we got to hang out with him on our way back to Malawi.
We had a busy and fun first day back in Malawi. Our dear friend Owen saw our car out front, and so knew we were home and came by to say hello. Owen and I worked together last year and became very close. Here he is getting to know 'Goodnight' as he calls him.
Charlotte, Bess and Molly Grace stopped by to meet Elijah. Charlotte and Bess were in my class last year. I missed them so much! When Bess saw me, she giggled and said "I forgot what you looked like!". It was so cute!

Well, Eli is beginning to have his sleepy fuss, so I think that means sleep for all of us, hopefully! Thank you again for praying! Keep praying, as it will be a busy week of unpacking, grocery shopping and preparing for school (which begins next Monday).

Yay! I'm so glad you all made it back and are settling in. Praise the Lord that the flights went well.
Hey, this is Andy's mom. I've enjoyed your blogs for a year now. And, Eli is precious. I am always thrilled when I see my son on your blog! Love every moment with that beautiful boy. One day he might decide to take off for lands unknown! Like Malawi, Africa! Keep an eye on
my boy for me. Am praying for you all every day. Shirley Passwater
