Robbins Abroad: Eli update

Elijah changes every day. The second I think I have figured him out, he totally changes on me! I still think he is teething as he gets cranky/whiny at the most random times, drools more and more and is always up for chewing on his toys (or anything else for that matter). As far as sleeping, things are getting a little better. He has been putting himself back to sleep more often when he wakes up in the middle of the night. He only eats once, usually around 3 or 4am and then again at 6am when he wakes up. Sometimes, he gives me more sleep in the morning by going back down until 7:30am!!! Those mornings are always so wonderful. During the day, he continues for eat every 3 hours which has been super nice. We are enjoying all the time we get to have with him each day. The Academy has been on break these last few days, so Dan has had even more time with us which has been fun. We just love our little family!

Please, be praying for Elijah's health. I cannot protect him from every possible illness/disease here. Although medicines/vaccines can be good, I cannot place all of my hopes on those things! Please pray that I would have peace when I greet Eli in the morning and see that he has 3 mosquito bites. Pray that the Lord would be his protection against dirty water (when bathing) and all the bugs around here. I could spend my whole life being paranoid but still not be able to completely protect him from harm...and really, it's not my job. I know that Eli is in God's hands and God is a much better protector than I am. Anyways, just something I've been thinking about and ask that you will pray for us in this way.

I've been able to capture some sweet moments between Dan and Elijah...I love watching Dan with Eli. He is such a good father and Eli loves his daddy.
