Elijah update

Elijah's top teeth have finally cut through. It's been a fussy past few days, but I think we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. He's been sleeping almost through the night (7:30am-5am) which makes for a happy mommy. Sadly, I think he came down with a cold last night, so we are taking it easy and napping a ton.

Here are some pictures from the past two weeks, featuring Eli's new favorite things to do!

Eli loves helping papa drive the truck around campus. He especially like helping papa shift the gears.

Eli holds his sippy cup all by himself.

Eli likes to have his feet up on the table. I am trying to discipline him in this....but it's also soooo cute!

Like his best friend Ezra, Eli also enjoys helping mommy with the laundry.

Eli's new favorite place to be is in front of the oven. When it's clean, he can see his reflection and often talks to it. At first, we gave him a wooden spoon so he could hit the image of himself in the oven. He loves hitting things.

We quickly realized that it was way too loud at 5:30am, so he got the rubber spatula.

He loves playing with it, and seems to also like using it as a sword with a tupper ware lid as his shield.

Spending time in our yard has helped Eli to forget his teething troubles.

That's it for now!

Micah used to put his feet on the table too. So cute at first, then not so cute. Micah used to say "bye bye feet taybe." Glad those teeth came in. Hope his cold goes away quickly, I know they are no fun.
