Thank you Australia!

Thanks to this amazing international travel website based in Australia, we are coming home for cheap! It has been an emotional roller coaster while we searched for different dates and times, desperately trying to find the best prices. A few times, we thought we found the perfect ones, only to find them gone in a matter of minutes. Sometimes, the same flight would still be there, only $600 added to the earlier price, causing me to hyperventilate. The really strange thing is that flying straight home from Lilongwe to Nashville was a very expensive flight, but we found that a long lay over in Cape Town, SA made the flight cheaper. $1,000 cheaper!!! Well, we decided it was worth the vacation (and the savings) to spend 5 nights in Cape Town on our way home. The South African Rand is down pretty low right now (10R-$1), so we expect it to be a very cheap vacation.

When we went to buy the tickets, there was an error which got us on the phone with a nice lady in Australia. At first, it was very frustrating playing phone tag through a bad skype connection, but it really worked out for the best. The Australian lady was able to quote us an even better price than what we had found on the web site! Oh, and we were able to use our credit card while paying over the phone! That means we definitely get to eat the next couple of weeks and can pay off the bill as the support comes in.

For those who would like to know, we are leaving Malawi on June 25th. We then will be spending 5 nights in Cape Town and are scheduled to arrive in Nashville the morning on July 1st. God is so good! Not only did He provide great tickets but a much needed vacation as well! Thank you so much for your prayers during this stressful time.
