Over look cookout and Mother's Day!

Last Saturday night, we had a cook out at the 'Overlook'. Our dear neighbor, Mr. Leeson has a beautiful piece of land that drops off and overlooks the beautiful hills of Tennessee. He is like an uncle to my siblings and I. He taught us how to ride horses, drive, spit and swear:) He is so dear to our family. He loves hosting BBQ's and "neighborhood" parties there. It is really a beautiful place. Last time we were up there, Dan helped Mr. Leeson with the sausages. He did such a great job, that he was put in charge of them again this time. Here he is, about to serve em up.

Here we are around the fire pit. From left to right: My brother Jesse, Mr. Leeson, My mom, Dan, Me, my lil' sister Abby and my dad.
Mother's Day! I woke up early and made muffins. Dan brought back some really good decaf coffee for me from Seattle, so I enjoyed my first cup with my muffins. Slowly, the house began to wake up, and the presents began. My sister Abby got me some bath things along with the newest People magazine! It was perfect because my mom and dad's gift to me was this really cool bath tub pillow and mat! It's all cushy so you can really relax in the tub. Dan got me an adorable mug with my favorite scented candle (fresh clean linens), flowers and TONS of Butterfinger candy bars! I am set!

Abby, Dan, Dad and I made a little gift basket for my mom with kitchen goodies, kisses, a picture frame, wine an Iron and Wine cd. It was really cute.
Her reaction was cuter!!!

Here I am officially at 38 weeks. I am SO ready to have this baby. He has been stretching out a lot lately. I'm sure he's feeling cramped in there, little guy!

Here, my mom is checking the heart beat. Listen to little Elijah...he is so excited! Granted, I did have Ben&Jerry's right before our appointment:)
