Yes I am sure. Elijah is 5 months old today and acts like a 9 month old. He is sitting up by himself pretty well these days, has spurts of crankiness due to teething and has discovered the joys of snacking on toes. He stays awake for a lot of the day and is taking three naps instead of 4. He sleeps well at night with a few exceptions and is almost always a happy boy. He is so great with people, both friends and strangers. This week, we are having parent-teacher conferences. Tonight, I was planning on taking Elijah with me, but decided last minute to see if my neighbor Megan was home. Not only was she home, but she was excited for the opportunity to have some extra Eli time. I felt so comfortable with leaving Eli in her hands and am thankful for all the loving people here on campus who are more than willing to help us out with Eli.

Snacking on those fat toes

Notice the drool...

...and there's more

Elijah has a teething moment

Fuzzy, but a good shot of Eli sitting up straight (before he leans to one side)

I love this picture because I feel like all you can see is chubby rolls.

For those of you who thought that Eli looked more like me, Dan asks that you reconsider.

Hanging out with Auntie Reb

"Standing on the promises of God" Rebecca always sings that when Eli is standing

A fuzzy video, but still very cute. After many failed attempts (and a few short successful ones) at skyping with my family, I decided I would add a video of Elijah in action.

I have to agree; he is starting to look a lot like his daddy!
