Post # 200!!!

God has been so faithful to us. So much has happened since we started this blog. To read from the beginning, click HERE.

We began this blog for our family, friends and supporters around the world after deciding to move to Malawi for 2 years. We thought it to be the best way to 'keep in touch', share prayer requests and for all of you to be able to see what God is doing in our lives here in Malawi.

So many of you have been an example of God's mercy to us. Dan and I have been in need of your help, financially and spiritually and many of you have been joyfully obedient in your giving. When I think of you, I think of these verses:

Luke 6:30 & 6:35-36
"Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back"
"But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men. Be merciful, just as you Father is merciful."

Many of you have given to us simply because we asked, not only "expecting nothing in return" but rather knowing that we cannot pay you back. You've given food, clothing, books, toiletries, diapers, checks and so much more...all things that have been very useful here in Malawi. Most importantly, you have given us your prayers and advice throughout our time here as there have been many challenges and surprises that we need support getting through. We have been so blessed not only through our time and work spent in Malawi, but also through the fellowship of the saints (YOU) back in the states.

I hope that this blog has been fun for all of you as well as informative. Thank you for reading and being a part of the work God is doing at ABC/ABCCA. We thank God for all of you.
