I really learned a lot from the Mortons during the past 12 weeks. I have known them since 2003, but really got to know them these last few months. Rebecca is such a great example of a true servant of the Lord. She literally did anything that was asked of her without complaint. She was a huge help to the missionaries here on campus, she helped finish putting together the last details of the guest huts on campus, she graded papers, she held babies at the nursery, she went to the prison ministry with the college students and even babysat Elijah a few times! I only wish I could be like her, and maybe one day I will (after lots of practice!). David is such a hard worker. His heart for the sick in Africa is so huge. I think he actually started working at the Partners in Hope clinic the day after they arrive in Malawi! Plus, he is amazing at Scrabble! We will miss them so much! Here is a picture of David and Rebecca at the airport with three ABC students that we brought with us to say goodbye to Rebecca. They are a part of the prison ministry which Rebecca got involved in while here in Malawi.
So as the Mortons were leaving for America, Marley's parents were arriving from America! We actually ran into them at the airport, and later, Marley and her sister dropped by to give us the things sent by my parents. I had asked my mom to send some more teething tablets, some t-shirts, a place mat, a diaper and a sweater all for Eli. Well, my mom being the giver that she is (and such a good one, too) put a little something extra in there: peanut m&m's, hershey's chocolate bars, ice tea packets, mac & cheese, a bib (for Eli), and many other cute little things for my birthday (notice most of the treats were food)! It was such a wonderful surprise!!! Thank you marmie!!!
You can see that Elijah is loving his new bib and place mat! Thank you grandmarmie!
Here is his new diaper and Mr. Roger's neighborhood sweater as I like to call it. Is it cheesy to wrap it up for Christmas and give it to him then?
Well, it was an eventful day indeed. We are looking forward to enjoying the Sabbath tomorrow.

Awe--that's the cutest lil sweater ever! I love the elbow patches!
Next time you're requesting things from home, put us on the notification list so we can send you stuff too! I would have gotten in on that action! :)
Love you!
